Membership
The annual membership fee is $20.00 per person per calendar year (or part thereof) and is due by 31 January each year.
(The annual membership fee may be reviewed and set by agreement at the AGM).
Your participation is welcome, with many areas for contribution to the success of the group.
Rights of membership include
- Participating in production activities, social events and development opportunities as coordinated by the committee, on behalf of the members.
- Attending and voting at the Annual General Meeting
- Standing for the committee
In becoming a member, you agree to
- Represent the values of Warkworth Theatre Group
- Promote the interests and purposes of the group, ensuring no action which could bring the Group into disrepute
- Review and promote the group’s health & safety framework and shared responsibilities
- Update the committee of any changes in your contact details, or to resign your membership
The Committee has the right to terminate membership where
- The annual membership fee is not paid, nor mutual agreement reached
- Where there is consistent failure of a member to meet the requirements of the group’s health & safety or values’ expectations, after fair and reasonable explanation and reminder of those expectations
